[Post title moderated – your problem is no more urgent than any other poster’s.]

    Hi!

I’ve seen this topic has been treated before but I’m unable to comment on those posts.

Some of my internal links on tradingconsistemas.com have stopped working.

It has been working fine until now nonetheless.

I’ve have been changing my permalink settings but this does not help.

I’m afraid I have a mix of permalinks in my posts/comments… and this has somehow stopped working now.

Any help will be appreciated, i’m comletely lost on this.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Are you using any custom plugins which may have any effect on permalinks?

    No, I don’t think so.
    At least none installed/updated lately.
I’m figuring out it can be a .htaccess problem. The file is blank.
I’m not receiving an update error from WP, but it’s always blank!

I think a wordpress re-install would fix the issue as it’ll also update the .htaccess. Try re-installing from dashboard.

What about the settings, themes and so on?

    Will I miss all that?¿

No, as long the database remains intact.

Im a little afraid of doing This. My knowledge is limited and this is a production site.

    Any alternative?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    thx.

Just one additional question before proceding.

If i change the setting in permalink section back and forth is it supossed to work fine?

So i could have 1 month the default setting and the next one a custom one and everyting would work well?

Everything would work fine within your site but links from other sites would probably break.

Got another blog: copia.tradingconsistemas.com on a subdomain and also has the same problem

It seems it’s a server issue!!
