# links don't open

 * I have been banging my head against this for a while and can’t work out why external
   links aren’t clicking – links to other pages internally work fine, as do href
   =”mailto links.
 * The links work if they are right clicked and “open in new tab” or such, and in
   IE they open in a new tab if middle clicked.
 * Replicated across chrome and IE, linux and windows, through clearing of caches.
 * The website is thetannery dot co dot nz
 * It uses the Daily Dish Pro theme from studiopress.com and the following plugins,
   though I have changed theme and disabled the plugins one at a time (with the 
   caching disabled) and still get the same non-link behaviour.

 * I’ve found a few other posts like this around the forum, and have tried most 
   of what I’ve found suggested such as eliminating the plugins and theme and am
   reaching wits’ end.
 * Hoping somebody out there has experienced something similar and has some advice?
