Ok here are a few links that are marked broken today that all work just fine:
https://monosnap.com/file/xJ68nBM7KM23GqZlUj7V8PpShkKgLX
https://monosnap.com/file/DEKaJN35Ub42WxtQklYYsXHpApvLY2
https://monosnap.com/file/wzp959musV2EqxMuE0dsGSitbv6tMJ
It did also find some broken links, so it’s not like it’s not working at all. But the fact that it intermittently tells me that links that work are broken is problematic. Especially since it’s been happening a lot lately. At least on this one site. FresnoFamily.com. I am trying to pay attention now to whether or not it’s happening on my other websites. I use this plugin on all my sites. I’ll pay closer attention now.
Hello there @sunflowermom
I am not able to replicate in a testing site of mine:

Could you please contact your hosting provider to double-check that PHP cURL is up and running well on your server? If not, you may also get a warning on Tools->Site Health page.
Warm regards,
Dimitris
I am having the very same problem that @sunflowermom is having. I have checked all the links that say they are broken, and they work. I even today clicked on the link in the email notification and it worked.
Can you check a few links for me please?
These are ones that I received notice today that were broken but are not:

I don’t know anything about PHP cURL but I will check with my hosting provider, which happens to be Siteground. They are usually really ‘up to date’. Thanks
By the way, I also just checked with my host provider and they assured me that PHP cURL is up and running just fine. Problem seems to be on your end, perhaps, then. It’s required a fair amount of time to verify each ‘broken’ link when it turns out they are not. I love the plug-in otherwise, hopefully this can be fixed soon? thank you.

If it means anything…I also use Siteground. And am still having this issue.
Hi there @sunflowermom
I checked the URLs shown in your screenshots, and all 3 indicate the links are getting flagged as broken due to timeout issues.
2 of them appear to be due to improper protocols used in the links themselves, which force a redirect and that may be taking longer than what you have set for the Timeout under Settings > Link Checker > Advanced.
The link you have to http://pbyoga.com/ resolves to https://www.pbyoga.com/
The link you have to http://www.professortoy.com/ resolves to http://professortoy.com/
The link to the livingmath.net site is correctly formatted though, yet it times out as well and might be due to the favicon on that site which takes over 30secs to load.
However, when I add those same links formatted the same way you have to a test page on one of my sites, they all load in less than 1sec with no broken link warnings. For example:
https://monosnap.com/file/zbjXXJYOjFpKOXeKBlabrjIXK4lUeL
Can you please try setting the Timeout option to, say, 60 seconds? If these are indeed timing out due to a low setting there, that should help. 🙂
Cheers!
Patrick
