Links Are Acting Odd

    I’m adding hyperlinks and none appear correct. I use this format:

    Without spaces < a href = “ http : / / http://www.link.com “ > link < / a >

    My link appears as <a href=“http://www.link.com”>link</a>

    Any theme I try and it happens.

    Have you tried using the link button in the editor? It looks like a chain.

    If you want to explicitly write HTML, you need to add a Custom HTML block (in the block editor) or switch from Visual to Text mode (in the classic editor).

    Thanks. No buttons show up and I can’t choose from visual or text. That’s my problem with the editor.

    No buttons at all? Are you using the classic editor or block editor? What do you see on your screen?

    Link button still shows coding.
