 * There are two issues with the links that I am having and I wonder if anyone could
   help me with either.
 * 1. The theme comes with a link to the developer’s page (alas which is empty) 
   but the link when clicked comes out relative to the hosted blog site and not 
   to the devloper’s site. How can I fix this or is this an error in the theme?

 * 01. Make sure your copyright text are valid html from **Appearance –> Customize–
   > Footer –> Copyright Text**
    Try to paste the following line
 * `Excellent theme "Shapla" by <a href="http://sayfulislam.com/">Sayful Islam</
   a>`

 * Alas, that doesn’t work because the URL is still considered to be relative and
   the page it then tries to open is:
 * [http://blog.ukhorseracing.co.uk/%22http://sayfulislam.com//%22](http://blog.ukhorseracing.co.uk/%22http://sayfulislam.com//%22)
 * I have changed the HTML to read:
 * Excellent theme "Shapla" by [Sayful Islam](http://sayfulislam.com/)
 * Because without the " the quotes appear as ‘escaped’. Anyway, the problem is 
   that the HTML is relative.
