Linking user profiles with interests/tags

Hi – I would like to allow my users to create an Interest section within their user profiles. This can be a paragraph and also user can simply write or select tags e.g. wine business, cars, etc. to describe their interests quickly. I then want to create cross-links between members with the same interest tags e.g. when viewing a profile, ‘others with the same tags/interests are’ can be seen as a group. I also want to be able to create a RSS/email feed for people to receive any new posts relating to a tag. Can someone point me in the right direction? Many thanks
