Linking to my site

I have only recently started using WordPress for my blog. Up until then, I have been designing my site using a programme called ‘Kompozer’. I have designed my ‘About Me’ page and uploaded it so it is available at /aboutme.html
I am trying to create a page for ‘About Me’ on my, now, homepage using WordPress, but I would like it to link to my other page rather than create a freshly new one that runs from WordPress. Is this possible? I have tried changing the permalink to the same as it should be, but this hasn’t worked.

Any ideas? Thank you!
