Linking to Blog from Static Page

    OK

    I know how this is supposed to work

    1. Create a page, name it whatever, for example “blog”.
    2. Go to Settings>Reading> Set Posts page to “Blog”.

    This does not work for me. When I do this and I click on the link for the “Blog” it sends me back to my static page.

    I read something about changing about changing the default theme on the “blog page” to “blog” but under the default theme drop down box it doesn’t give me that option, only contact, full width, or portfolio.

    Someone please help! This is driving me crazy.
