Linking Posts to a Different Page than Blog

We’d like to include posts on a non-blog page of our nonprofit. We have a page for upcoming events that would work well as a place for us to post blogs about what’s coming up.
We’d like to create a category that will automatically post to this page. However, whenever we create a category, there is no place to put the URL. Is this not the way to update a page with a blog-type posting or fresh content? What is the way?
