  • Resolved lamosca

I’m no programmer, and I’m new to WordPress. I’ve managed to replace the default Kubrick header jpg with my own image. Now I want to link that image to the site’s URL (so anytime anyone clicks on the image they’re directed back to the site home page).

Along those same lines, I need to remove the title text that appears by default in the middle of the header image. I don’t know how to do it without removing the blog title altogether.

So, to sum-up: I need to remove the blog title from the center of the header image and link the entire image (kubrickheader.jpg) to the site’s front page. Any ideas? Thanks!

  • Check out the theme sections around here.

You should be able to make a copy of the default/Kubrick theme and hack on your copy all you want. That way, just swapping out the image won’t mess you up (and will dynamically keep your title on the write masthead -and- keep the url in place to the front page)

Also, to remove the title go to your Dashboard in Admin then select “Options” and the first entry you see should be where your weblog title is.

    Happy Blogging,
