Support » Fixing WordPress » Linking Images to Links for Sidebar

  • I am having trouble updating my clients site. What we need to do is get a sponsor logo and a link to the sponsor website to show on the side bar. We have been able to use the logo else where on the site but not on the front page side bar. When we try to link it is saying that the image is not there and to re-upload. We ahve done this several times with no luck. I am not a programer, or a webmaster. PLEASE HELP!!!

  • We have been able to use the logo else where

    Find an example of that. Right-click on it and select “view image”.

    Now look at the address bar of your browser. That is the absolute path to that image.

    Go to your widgets pane. Drag a text widget over to where you would like the logo to appear.

    In the body of the text widget, add this code:

    <img src="absolute_path" border="0" />

    Be sure to click “Save” at the bottom of the text widget.

    If that doesn’t work, please post a link to the site in question.
