    Hi,

I’m working on setting up enhanced commerce using this plugin on my woocommerce site. I’ve enabled enhanced commerce in my Google Analytics account, labeled my checkout funnel steps, and installed/activated the plugin.

Where I’m a bit lost is how to “tell” analytics which pages on my site relate to the checkout funnel labels I created. I believe that I may need to do this with tags using Google Tag manager but am not sure.

Really appreciate the help here and looking forward to using the plugin!

    “Hi drenn,

    Thank you for contacting us!

You don’t need to do this via Google Tag Manager. It’s already configured in our plugin,by which google analytics will automatically map it with checkout funnel label.

You only need to label checkout funnel steps it in your Google Analytics account which you already done.

Here is the sequence in which checkout steps fire by our plugin:

Step 1: When user lands on checkout Page (Checkout View)
Step 2: When user focuses on billing form field called “”First Name”” (Billing Address)
Step 3: When user clicks on “”Proceed To Paypal”” button (Proceed To Paypal)

    Hope that helps

    Thanks & Regards!”

Just out of curiosity, is there a reason the cart page isn’t included in the checkout funnel? Is it just industry standard, or personal preference? Seems like it would be nice to have the cart included in the dropoff report.

Is there a way to customize the steps in this plugin without modifying the code itself to change the step numbers that are hard-coded into it?

    Hi,

    Thank you for contacting us!

Checkout funnel is specifically configured to track the checkout steps on checkout page therefore, cart page is not included in that.

Currently, there is no way to customize the steps in our plugin. You can get back to us at khushboo(at)tatvic(dot)com for any further queries/concerns!

    Hope that helps!

    Thanks & Regards!
