Title: LinkedIn WordPress Application Last modified: August 19, 2016 --- # LinkedIn WordPress Application * [jlevan](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jlevan/) * (@jlevan) * [15 years, 8 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/linkedin-wordpress-application/) * So there was a topic regarding this in the past year that never appeared to be solved [ and the thread closed.](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/linkedin-application) * Just for the sake of completeness and to show LinkedIn’s reply, here is the result of my trouble ticket submission to LinkedIn: * My ticket: A client of my employer has requested that his WordPress blog be attached to LinkedIn, however, when entering the URL of his website the following error is consistently generated: “Sorry, we can’t find a WordPress blog at this address.” * The entire website is built using WordPress. I have tried the following URLs with no luck: boothsweet.com [http://www.boothsweet.com](http://www.boothsweet.com) [http://boothsweet.com](http://boothsweet.com) [http://www.boothsweet.com](http://www.boothsweet.com) * As well as the following feed URLs: boothsweet.com/feed [http://www.boothsweet.com/feed](http://www.boothsweet.com/feed) [http://boothsweet.com/feed](http://boothsweet.com/feed) [http://www.boothsweet.com/feed](http://www.boothsweet.com/feed) boothsweet.com/?feed=rss2 [http://www.boothsweet.com/?feed=rss2](http://www.boothsweet.com/?feed=rss2) [http://boothsweet.com/?feed=rss2](http://boothsweet.com/?feed=rss2) [http://www.boothsweet.com/?feed=rss2](http://www.boothsweet.com/?feed=rss2) * All of these URLs are valid, if I try marking off “Show only recent posts tagged LinkedIn” I receive the following error: “The feed URL [http://boothsweet.com/?feed=rss2&tag=linkedin](http://boothsweet.com/?feed=rss2&tag=linkedin) is inaccessible” Which makes more sense, as it seems that the application is trying to pull the information from the right place (although the tag LinkedIn does not exist and this error is understandable). * The error message is less than helpful – there is no indication as to what the problem is, and the message is, frankly, incorrect – the entire website is a WordPress system. * LinkedIn’s response: While the application you have inquired about is hosted on LinkedIn’s platform, the details you have inquired about were designed by our partner, WordPress. Based on our review of your inquiry, we expect you will receive the most accurate and up-to-date assistance from our partner.
