# LinkedIn issue

 * Hello!
 * I set up the plugin, created the LinkedIn API, copied the required information
   into the plugin, but when trying to login with a LinkedIn account, I get the “
   Oops! We ran into an issue.” screen.
 * It tells me that “Authentication failed. Either you have cancelled the authentication
   or LinkedIn refused the connection.”
 * And when I click on details it further says “Could not establish connection to
   provider API”
 * I checked and double checked that the info I copied from the API into the plugin
   is correct, and it is. I feel like I’m missing something in the API that’s not
   mentioned in the plugin, some field I have to fill in.
 * I further read on the plugin website and I tried adding my domain to the JavaScript
   API Domains field, as well as the redirect link mentioned here [http://miled.github.io/wordpress-social-login/networks.html](http://miled.github.io/wordpress-social-login/networks.html)(
   changed to my domain name ofcourse) to the OAuth 2.0 Redirect URLs field, but
   neither of this helped in any way.
