    Hi all, I know this topic has been raised in this forum in the past, but I haven’t seen any solutions presented publicly, so I’m starting a new thread.
    My client is using Jetpack Publicize to publish her posts on Facebook, Google+, Twitter and LinkedIn.
    The LinkedIn connect is constantly asking to be refreshed. She says no sooner has pushed the refresh button and reloaded the page, than it reappears. I have tested and confirm this behavior.

    Not sure of a solution, can you provide any insights? Thanks.

    The LinkedIn connection checks out on my end. Looking, it appears your site is hosted on GoDaddy?

    If so, GoDaddy has implemented a block (technically a network trap) for all XML-RPC POST requests, which is how Jetpack communicates with your sites, including refreshing tokens used for the Publicize connections.

    They implemented this as a method of dealing with an XML-RPC brute force attack they’ve seen, so nothing we can do on our end. So far, they’re the only host to implement this method.

    For those who find this post later, typically, there is some type of connection error from the site that would cause this and usually require us to do further debugging from the site.

    Thanks for the response Brandon, sorry I didn’t get back to you. So my question now is, if the block is due to GoDaddy, would you expect it to affect all of the Publicize options, rather than just LinkedIn? Currently we’re only having a problem with the one network.

    Are you seeing problems currently? Everything checks out on the debug on our end, so it may be a different problem if you’re still seeing it.

    2 of your users seem to be connected to the same LinkedIn account. Could you try to ask them to delete all LinkedIn connections, and then connect again?
