 * We’re also curious if I can make the image link back to the homepage. I saw where
   I can make any text I would put in link, but can I make the text link?

 * I am not certain I understand your question.
 * I checked this page out. Wouldn’t it been easier to modify your team to add a
   custom header and custom menu? Then you can adjust the menu via wordpress Core.
 * To link to yourself, make sure to select the “_self” option under the text.
 * _self – Opens the linked document in the same frame as it was clicked
