I need to link from another page, to a page with the tabs on it.
The link points to content in a specific tab. So i want the specific tab to open automaticly when clicked on the link.
How can I do this?
Hey. So yeah this is pretty easy. Just add the link but use “#” and the name of the tab you want open.
So for example here is my page with tabs:
It has four tabs named Specs, Overview, Data, and Gallery.
If I want it to open to the Overview tab on that page automatically I would use this link:
Most of the time you can see these links by hovering over the tabs and looking at the bottom left of your browser depending on what you are using but it doesn’t matter because its always named after your tabs titles.

Is it possible to do this with spoilers? I’m having an issue with the spoiler actually opening when I add the # …
Here you go:
It links fine but does not open the spoiler for some reason …
Hmm okay. You’re saying it links to the webpage of the spoiler but it won’t open the one you are linking to?
Are you sure you are using the right link and “#name_of_spoiler” and such?
Can you provide other details about the problem? Like browsers, version of WordPress and plugin you are using, links, and so on?
Yes, here is the page: http://insights.ca/facility/
I’ve tried it on chrome, firefox and ie with no luck … the word “facility” in the first paragraph should open the “what our facility has to offer” spoiler on the same page.
Yeah no luck for me either. Not sure why that isn’t working. I haven’t used spoilers much with this plugin so not sure what the problem could be sorry.
