Thanks for reaching out to us.
You can add the event URL to the product description so that users can easily navigate to the event page. Alternatively, if you want to link products to events, you can use our WooCommerce Integration extension. This extension allows you to add optional or mandatory products to your events. You can define quantity or let users choose it themselves.
For more details, you can check out the extension here: https://theeventprime.com/all-extensions/woocommerce-integration/.
Hi.
So in other words, the function I am lookin for is not available? Unfortunately your suggestion will not fit what I need, as I want it to link to the product FROM the calendar entry – because if someone finds a date for a workshop that works for them on the calendar, they want to go directly to it.
I don’t need people linking to the events calendar from my product – in this case, it wouldn’t make sense.
Thank you
Ah hang – I hadn’t finished reading your email properly! You mention that you can use the woo commerce extension. I do indeed have that installed, but I cannot find how to add the product to the event.
Hello
Thank you for that – I missed that extra step to enable woocommerce integration. I think I have now complete all the steps in the tutorial you linked me to, thank you.
However, unfortunately this hasn’t produced the result I’d hoped for.
Expectation: clicking on the event in the calendar takes me to the product page.
What actually happens: Clicking on the event takes me to the event page, where there is no link to the product page.
What am I still doing wrong, please?
Thanks
