Link to posts lead to new comment

    Hi everybody,
    I am facing the following situation: In my blo http://www.mankannsessen.de I am creating a new post. In this post I am placing a link to an older post (using “?p=…” as href). After saving the new post WP automatically increases the comment counter (because obviously it interpretes the link as a new comment to the older post. This behaviour seems strange to my. How can I avoid that?

    Normally, if you don’t use absolute path – it shouldn’t ping. Links in a blog post to another blog post become “pings”, if it is allowed. However, they should not appear if you are using only relative path.
