Link to existing calendar for an event category?

I am using WP FullCalendar with Events Manager. I have my events calendar set up perfectly. These plugins work great together.

However, I want to add a link on another page that will go to the existing calendar that displays only one category. In this thread: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/display-calendar-for-an-event-category/, the user wanted to link to a new page with that category displayed. I want to be able to link to my existing calendar, but only displaying one category, in this case “Children”. I don’t want to have 2 different calendars, and I don’t want my events calendar to default to the “Children” category.
