I am currently using a single sign on between my forum software and WP. All registrations are done through my forum software, so I don’t have a “give me a site” option upon registration.

I am looking to create a link on my nav bar to give my users the option to create a site. Similar to this: <a href="domain.com/create-a-site">Create a site</a>

Looked around but didn’t come up with anything.

    Which nav bar?

My static html bar I created in header.php. I found the “create a new site” in the dashboard, but when clicked I get a page not found. It’s taking me to http://domain.com/i/blogs/create/ which I found out is a buddypress flaw.

But, when I deactivate buddypress the link goes to domain.com/wp-signup.php I believe and it just gives me a blank page. I’m guessing it’s because of my single sign on.

That’s where it’s supposed to send you actually.

    What’s your forum signup?

@ipstenu I figured out the issue. When installing buddypress you create your pages for activity, groups, etc. I had to change my “site-tracking” page to blogs.

So my site tracking page became domain.com/blogs. This fixed the “create a new site” link in the dashboard.

I then used that link domain.com/blogs/create and added it to my nav bar. Seems to work like a charm!
