hello and thank you for your great plugin!

    i have a few question.
can you modify the plugin, that pictures will be automaticly showed as images in the sidebar? i want to build my theme with all attachments and pictures showed up on the right sidebar and your plugin would be the best for my work 🙂

an other point: can you add an option to link to the attachment page and not the the attachment as itself? or can you help me to get these links to the attachment pages?

Hmmm… Just so we are clear:

    1. an option to show ‘images’ instead of links. One would assume this would work best on attachments that where, in fact, images, however media icons could also be displayed for non-image attachments. Also it would be handy to choose which registered image size should be used, such as ‘thumbnail’ or ‘medium’ and what have you. We’ll think about that and get back to you.

    2. an option to link to the attachment page. Yes, good idea, we will absolutely include tis in the next release. Thank you for your feedback!

Look for a follow up post in the coming days, and again: thank you for the great feedback.

    thank you for your answer.

i have a third idea: what would you think about an third option, to include more informations about the attachment, f.e. the description.

i ask you because i’m creating a complete new style for my blog, and i want to list up all post recent attachments on the right side (primary pictures) and not in the content of the post. on this way i wnat to seperate content (text) from attachments (pictures), which should be displayed on the right sidebar with short description.

i hope you can understand my idea and you can help me 🙂

Actually, this is already possible. Please check out the documentation for working examples using the show attribute.

There you will see that you can do nifty things such as:

    [list-related-attach show="caption (title): description"]
