Link text on screen

    Hi Ian, I have a question about fields that are of Type LINK. They are working for me, but I wonder if I can slightly adjust how the link appears on the page. Let me try and explain. I want to link from the table to a page with a url of “….Series-A-Inserts” but I would prefer the text on screen to be “Series A Inserts” (i.e. without hyphens). Maybe I should use some href code and re-designate the column as Text ? Thanks again

    Hi Mike,

    Yes, it is possible. With Link type you can use Markdown syntax to set the link text. For example:
    [Series A Inserts](https://...Series-A-Inserts)

    Hi Ian, hmm I must be doing something wrong. In the LINK field I typed exactly what you say above (well, with the full url) and the Table itself displayed exactly the same text and the link did not execute. However, I then entered some standard Href= code into the link cell and it is now doing what I want. So, thank you for the advice, but I have solved it in a different way. Many thanks
