How Can I Link Page So Doesn’t Show in Tab or Sidebar?

    @tangonow

    I’m using WordPress as a static website…no blogging only pages. I created a page with a link to it from one of my main website pages. I don’t want the linked page to show up in the sidebar or tabs. If I make the page “private” it doesn’t show on the site which is the way I want it. However, when I click on the link it goes to “error 404”. How can I hide the page so it doesn’t show on the side or tab and only access it through a link?
    Thanks,
    Sam

    Try to unpublish the page, rather than making it private.

    That way it will disappear from the menu and sidebar, but still maintain the permalink, if you point your browser to it.

    Or you can use the pageMash plugin to “hide” pages.
