# Link option not working

 * Seems to happen intermittently but the Link option is not working, I don’t get
   any response at all. I have tried disabling all plugins and clearing cache. I
   have also tried using another browser and doesn’t work on their either.
 * Does anyone have any suggestions?

 * When I highlight some text and click on the insert/edit link button, nothing 
   happens.

 * Thanks, I’ve had a look through this. I was wondering if anyone has resolved 
   this one specific issue.

 * There could be a thousand and one causes. Every site/install is different. I 
   suggest you try some of the solution listed in the topic I linked to above.

 * If I switch to another theme and then back to my original will it mess up my 
   website at all? I’m really nervous about trying it as I’m a complete beginner
   with wordpress.

 * It shouldn’t do. All of your old theme’s settings should be saved in your database.

 * I changed themes and the problem went away so looks like it is theme specific
