    Hello!
I’m a new user to The Events Calendar.
We are wanting to have a link on the home page that goes to the Previous Events List page. I viewed source and copied the link that was on the “Previous Events” button. However all we get is a page with “No Results Found”. Actually we found it interesting that if you are on the Previous Events List page and hit reload or refresh, we get a similar “No Results Found” page.
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated!
See on our Home page the sentence directly above “Committees”.
    Thanks, KarenMW

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @karen0mw!

Thanks for getting in touch! Let me help you with that issue.

First, please update to the latest version of our plugin 4.5.12.1 as it may include fixes related to this issue.

If you still have issues after that, you should go through a set of troubleshooting steps described in our testing for conflicts guide.

If you see no difference while testing for conflicts, we’ll need to go through some deeper troubleshooting, for which we’ll need you to send us a copy of your system information by following this guide

Let us know how that goes!

    Best,
    Victor

OK went thru “Test if there is a conflict” after backing up entire website.

Step 1) Switched to Twenty Sixteen theme.
Problem of refreshing Past Events List still occurs.
Problem of link on Home page to the Past Events List still occurs.

(Assume Step 2 should be completed with the Twenty Sixteen theme, though instructions do not specify.)
    Step 2) Disable all plugins.
Only one plugin used– “Simple Custom CSS”– so disabled it.
    Still both problems.

    Did additional disabling.
Went to FTP and renamed the folder in my theme/tribe-events to HIDEME-tribe-events.
    Still both problems.

Reactivated everything so back to where I started.

Read down thru the Looking for a Solution
    OK, so this is weird.
Using Chrome, I viewed source and copied entire html pages into files so I can look at them.
On an Upcoming List page (http://thesba.biz/?tribe_events_cat=events), I can find all the data that is rendered on that page. I did a search on “Autumn”… well there it is.
HOWEVER on a Preview Events List page (http://thesba.biz/?tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=past&eventDisplay=list&post_type=tribe_events), the data can be seen in a browser but the source only shows the No Results Found. On this page I searched for National. Doesn’t exist in the source!

So this is definitely not a problem caused by a theme or a conflicting plugin.
How is a page rendering as one state and yet the source code show a different state?

What happened? Contact information at the bottom (looked very similar to the Home page) is missing…
By the way, we are also working on the Email Optin form (will be changing to use other way instead of Elegant Themes, Divi).

    Hey @karen0mw

Just to set expectations, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues.

We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.

With that in mind, I think most of your issues would be solved by using pretty permalinks. You can set that up under Settings > Permalinks (choose the post name option).

That will provide you a much clearer and simple URL structure to work with.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.
