 * Hi,
    I will appreciate any help on the following issues:
 * When using [link-library-search settings=1] and redirect search results to the
   same page.
 * 1. Is it possible to get the entered search text already filled in the resulting
   page “input” search value?
 * 2. And if we use an [link-library-cats settings=1] how can we combine and simultaneous
   filter link by the search text and the category?
 * Please use the following example to better understand these issues.
    [https://geoportais.com/?searchll=inspire](https://geoportais.com/?searchll=inspire)
   I would like that “inspire” text could appear in the “Pesquisa…” form field and
   let the user filter results using “Escolha uma Categoria” to show only “1. Nacionais”
   category links.
 * Thank you in advance!
    Best regards

 * I have introduced a new option in version 6.6.8 to address your first point.
   It can be found under the search tab of library configurations and is labeled“
   Display search text in search results page search box”. I did not want to make
   it the default behaviour since people might like the way it currently works.
 * For point #2, would you be able to export and send me your library configuration
   by e-mail at ylefebvre at gmail dot com? And also tell me what shortcodes you’ve
   put in your page? I’d like to create a similar setup to see what I can do there.
 * Finally, I noticed that the text “No links found” shows up twice at the bottom
   of the page since the search text does not match any links in two categories.
   You can hide this by putting the following rule in your Link Library stylesheet:
 *     ```
       .nolinksfoundincat {
           display: none;
       }
       ```
 * This will make the results page cleaner.
 * Thank you very much Yannick!
 * 1. I’ve just upgrade and activated that option. Works like a charm!
    2. I’m sending
   you my configuration by email. 3. Thank you for the “nolinks” tip. I was just
   looking to fix that, and it’s solved!
 * I’ve just noticed on your newest 6.6.9 that you added the “Link Name only” option
   for the “Link Source” of “Link Name” column. That’s nice!
 * Could it be possible to add that same “Link Name” options for the “Link Source”
   of “Image” column? (Primary/Secondary/Dedicated page/Link Name only”)
    Currently
   we can only choose between: “Primary/Secondary”.
 * Thank you in advance!
    Best Regards.
 * 1. Great
    2. I think I understand what you are asking for now. After you enter
   a search text, you would like to be able to select a category and only see results
   from that category. This will require more work, which will likely be more of
   a weekend project. I will try to delve into this over the coming long week-end
   here in Canada. 3. Perfect. 4. I just added new options to the image display
   so that it can also link to a dedicated page, or only display the image with
   no link. Update to the latest version to see this change.
 * Looking at this category filtering a bit more, this is why categories are set
   to not display in search results by default. I never figured out a good thing
   to do with them in that situation! 😉
 * Does not mean nothing can be done, just wanted to share these thoughts.
 * Hello Yannick and thank you once again for the fast reply!
 * Yes, that’s exactly that way I would like it to behave. It guess it would be
   great for the user inter-activeness to combined both filters: text and category.
   But I understand it can take a bit longer to achieve. No problem!
 * 4. Regarding the Image Link Source options:
    In my site the new option “Image
   Only” is working fine! [https://geoportais.com/](https://geoportais.com/) But
   the “Dedicated page” is not. please have a look at: [https://geoportais.com/servicos/](https://geoportais.com/servicos/)
 * For dedicated page links to work, not only do you need to select the option to
   use these links in the Advanced table, but you also need to check the option
   labeled ‘Individual link pages can be seen by visitors’ under Global Options.
 * I can look at adding a validation message to indicate to users that they need
   to do something in this situation.
 * Dear Yannick,
    That ‘Individual link pages can be seen by visitors’ is already
   on. The problem is visible if you enter the mentioned example: [https://geoportais.com/servicos/](https://geoportais.com/servicos/)
   It places all the individual pages links on top of the table list result. Cheers
 * Version 6.6.12 corrects the issue. My test did not show the issue, but now that
   I saw it, it was a quick fix.
 * Sorry to get back on this.
    I’ve just noticed a similar issue with: “Show Link
   Updated Flag” when “Link Updated Flag Position”=”Before link Fields” As you can
   see on my example, the “Updated link label”= “Novo” appears on top of table list:
 * No need to be sorry. It’s a big plugin with a ton of options. I can’t even begin
   to test all of them, let alone test all combinations. I’ll look into this issue
   in the evening.
 * Wow, guess no one ever tried that combination of options, or never bothered to
   report the issue. This code has been like that for many many years. I have fixed
   the issue in 6.6.13, which I’ll release a bit later today.
 * Hi Yannick,
    Version 6.7 fixed the “Link Updated Flag Position”=”Before link
   Fields” issue. Everything is now professionally fixed! I will wait if could be
   so kind to see if it’s possible to do something about: “2. And if we use an [
   link-library-cats settings=1] how can we combine and simultaneous filter link
   by the search text and the category?” Thank you!
