 * I have events listed on the home page, but when you click on the specific event,
   it takes you to a page that inherits the homepage look. I have an upcoming events
   page that works great, and I’d like the look of the specific events to show up(
   when clicked from the homepage) like it does when you click from the upcoming
   events page.

   which looks just like the homepage. But I want it to look like when I click from(

   it takes me to a page that looks like this page ([http://answerscholarship.org/upcoming-events?event_id1=1](http://answerscholarship.org/upcoming-events?event_id1=1))

 * Probably you have a widget area on you home page where you can include the event-
   list widget. There you can specify the link to your event page.
 * The same is possible with the shortcode by using the hidden attribute called “
   url_to_page”. With this attribute you can specify the destination page for all
   links.
