    Hello @karenlg.

I am happy to help you today.

Yes, but you will need to use the “Import from eBay to Woocommerce” addon plugin in order to import existing listings from eBay to WC/WP-Lister.

    Kind regards,
    John

Some of the products are already on WooCommerce and eBay. I would like to link them but I don’t want to have to make new products. Is there a way to like the already exciting product. Ones that are already on eBay and WooCommerce? Just link between the two.

    Hello @karenlg.

    Yes, there is.

All you need to do is enable the “Match existing SKUs” setting on the advanced settings page of the importer add on plugin.

Then when you process an import, the importer add on will only match an eBay listing to a WC product in WP-Lister if the SKUs match. If an SKU on eBay does not match an SKU in Woocommerce, the listing will be skipped.

Also note that this setting will only work with simple listings, not variable listings.

    Kind regards,
    John

Ok. So I would need to buy this plugin? Will it work with WP-Lister Lite for eBay plugin or do I need to buy the WP-Lister Pro for eBay.

    Hello @karenlg.

Yes, you would need the Import from eBay to Woocommerce add-on plugin.

And yes, it will work with lite or Pro.

Can this also be done with the WP-Lister for Amazon?

When it links the two products will it combined the inventory or will it take the information from the store?

What happens to the Product name, description, and the Image?

    Hello @karenlg.

Yes you can import products from Amazon to Woocommerce/WP-Lister but it works differently than WP-Lister for eBay.

For Amazon, there is no add on plugin to import, it is built into WP-Lister for Amazon and is available to both Lite and Pro users. You can read more about how to import from Amazon to Woocommerce here: Import products from Amazon

    All the best!

When they are linked on eBay. Will it take the Product name, description, and the Image from the store and replace it with the information on eBay?

Also what happens to the inventory?

    Hello @karenlg.

No it will not. When you connect listings using the “Match existing SKUs” setting, they will only be connected. Then you can unlock your listings and revise the listings to eBay which will have the WC information update the eBay listings.

Ok. So I need to go into my store and make sure all the SKUs match the eBay SKUs and then go to “Match existing SKUs” turn that on and it will only match the ones that are on both eBay and WooCommerce?

It will not delete or add any products correct? The reason I ask is because we have some products on the store that are not on eBay and some on eBay that are not on the store. So I just want to make sure buying and downloading this plugin will not do that.

That is correct, no products will be deleted or created when the “Match Existing SKUs” setting is enabled.

I just got it downloaded and I don’t see the “Match existing SKUs” under the advanced tab in eBay. Not sure what I’m missing.

Also is there anything else I need to do to make it work the way we have been talking about. Anything I need to uncheck so it will not import all my listing from eBay.

    Hello @karenlg.

That setting is in the advanced settings of the importer add on plugin, not WP-Lister. When you install the importer add on you will see the “Import from eBay” menu option within the “eBay” menu. You would click that menu item, then click the “Advanced Options” page.

    Kind regards,
    John

oooo I see!! Thank you!!! Do you know of anything we need to undo to make sure the listings are not duplicated? Or is that all we need to do to get the listings linked?

Can you send me a step by step on what I need to do to make sure that the products are not imported from eBay nor are the categories? We just want the products to link from the ones in the WP store to the ones on our eBay store.
