I am attempting to use User Switching on a multi-site setup, and get a plain text window: “The link you followed has expired. Please try again.”

I saw in another post that sometimes WP Super Cache was sometimes the issue — I Deactivated WPSC — same results though.

Any thoughts on how/why this won’t let me switch to another User to see what he’s experiencing with 1 of his sites? He can’t Edit Pages in: http://micoasttocoast.com/ — but can Edit in other sub-sites.

    Thanks in advance!

It sounds like there might be an issue with the domain mapping on your site. I don’t know what to suggest other than to try deactivating the other plugins on your site one by one to see if the issue gets resolved.

If you have any non-standard handling of cookies or domains in your wp-config.php file then that might also be causing an issue.

Sorry I can’t be of any more help.

Thanks John — I had the client shut down their computer completely and close out all open applications, clear browser cache again, and other “clean slate” measures. Upon restart, it sounds like he was then able to Edit the site properly. So I no longer needed to use User Switching to try and recreate the issue he was having.

    Thanks again!

    S
