I just noticed it says: “You can use the following variables: the post link will be added to the entire text.” The read more field looks like this: Continue reading %%POSTNAME%% at %%BLOGNAME%%. But the text in the email is not linked.
Do you have a link to your feed where I can see the raw feed output? Without seeing that, my only guess would be to check your campaign settings in Mad Mimi.
I don’t use that service, but looking at this article about their RSS Clean Display setting, I would suspect that you may have that checked and that it’s removing the link from your feed output.
If the setting in Mad Mimi isn’t checked, I can look at your feed and see if the link is present there. If it is not in the feed output, you may have another plugin (or code on your site) modifying the excerpt after this plugin does.

Hi Robin, thanks for such a quick reply. The link for the feed is: https://scrappygeek.com/feed/
Thanks for checking into it for me – very novice here 🙂
The link is present on your raw feed, so I would look into the RSS Clean Display setting in Mad Mimi. I suspect it is enabled (to make sure your feed is clean), but it’s not needed in your situation. Your feed is okay, so the issue is likely with the email campaign settings or the template.

Aha! Brilliant! I found the clean display setting in Mad Mimi and disabled it, and now see the read more links in the feed previews! Thanks!
