Link & category menus won't open or re-order

I previously updated my website to v3.6 and I’m having trouble opening the links and category menu so that I can select links/categories to add to my main menu. Until I can figure out what is going on, I have reverted back to to latest stable version of 3.5 (v3.5.2).
