My list of links in the dashboard doesn’t look right. It says
All (975) | Mine (837) | Published (963) | Private (12)
Search Links:
The list itself is showing 3 copies of each link. This is clearly not right. I didn’t think I had that many links. 321 is a number I could believe.
Also, the 6.0 file is over 1 MB because of the inclusion of nearly 600K of Bitstream TTF fonts in the Captcha folder. Is that really necessary?
Sorry for the trouble you are experiencing with the new version.
I have had some reports of users getting duplicate links after upgrading to the latest version, but was never able to reproduce these issues. You can delete all entries that do not have any categories.
As for the plugin file size being large, that font is used by one of the plugins I included with Link Library to provide captcha capabilities. If you do not have user-facing forms with captcha, you could remove this font from the distribution.

ALL of the links have had their categories removed. And ALL have been triplicated. Where I previously had 321 links with categories, I now have 963 links with no categories. I’m not sure how to fix this.

The categories still exist, but none of them are assigned to links.
i see also that when you see the tab “link library” and the tab “links” the site have issues
some sites from me only show the tab “link library” and everything looks fine on the site….
I see also many sites that doubled or tippled the links but not on all sites…
Same here, all categories gone. And also the layout of links. Neither table nor unordered list is working anymore. They are all shown like text.
I tried to adjust the settings of my linklist (from table to unordered list) but after saving there is still “table” in the box. But no matter what I do, the layout is messed up.

In my case I noticed that my links have been doubled, one link with categories assigned and one without.
All my pages showing links showed the note “All of your links must be assigned at least to one category to be displayed”
I noted that my categories received new internal numbers. Categories had two digits before and have now three digits after the update to v6.
So after changing f.e.
[link-library categorylistoverride=”61″]
to
[link-library categorylistoverride=”570″]
my links are displayed again.
But, unfortunately I see a PHP warning on the site now:
“Warning: sizeof(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in [website-path]/wp-content/plugins/link-library/render-link-library-sc.php on line 690”
Maybe this is a hint for Yannick.
Yannick, thanks for all your hard work with this great plugin.
I have re-written the import function, which will hopefully resolve the duplicate links issue. If you have reverted back to version 5.9, or have not cleaned up your duplicate links, you can go to the General Options section under Link Library and press the re-import links button.
This will delete all of the 6.0-format links and re-import them.
I have fixed the sizeof warning you reported. This was not related to the duplicate links, but had not been found in the beta cycle.
Dragon, for your layout issues, can you perhaps export and send me your library settings for me so I can test this on my side?
Grandjil, if the Links tab is still being displayed, you should check to see if you have the Link Manager installed. That is the plugin that is making the Links menu still appear. It is safe to remove it.
Will send my setting via your contact form at your website.
Thanks for looking into it.

Yannick, what must I do to fix my Link Library? Here’s what I’m faced with:
Links: https://b0b.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/LL1.png
Categories: https://b0b.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/LL2.png
I was auto-updated to 6.0.5. I now have 3 copies of each link, and none of the 14 categories are connected to links.
Go to the General Options tab and click on the re-import button.

Is there any quick way to delete all of the links that don’t have categories assigned?
