Link avatar to members page

    Hello,

    I was wondering if it would be possible to link the user avatar’s in the directory to the their members page instead of the authors page? Currently their avatar links to /author/john-doe I would like it to link to /members-2/john-doe

    I’m not comfortable enough to try and edit anything in the core.php myself for fear of messing something up. Your help would be appreciated thank you.

    Hi brucelin82,

    Are you referring to the BuddyPress profile page? If BuddyPress installed and activated on your site, and if you have DUD 1.3.1 or later, you should be able to do this.

    On the DUD settings page, click on the “Link Username to Page” checkbox. You should now see a dropdown giving you the option to link to the author page or the BuddyPress profile page. Select “BuddyPress Profile” to link the username and avatar to the BP Profile page (i.e. the members page).
