Iknowhowyoulovetoignorethisissuefromover3yearsagobutIinsistthatwhitespaceisneccessaryforreadabilityandclerity’ssake.Itisunfortunatethatyouignoresomethingasfundamentaltoeditingasawell-placedbreakortwo.Ironydoesn’tevenbegintodescribeyourslogan,”CODEISPOETRY”,asoftentheformattingisjustasimportantifnotmoresothanthewordsinthemostfamousofpoems.ThoughIhavenochoicebuttousewordpressformyemployer,Iwillneveruseitformypersonalneed,andifIamtheonlyoneboycottingitsobeit.Itmakesmechuckletothinkofalltheworkthatmusthavebeendonejusttostripallthelinebreaksfromthecorrectareas,anditangersmethatyouchoosetodoyourownthingratherthanfollowestablishedprotocolsandstandards.Towhatend?Toproveyoucanbullypeopleintodoingthingsyourway?I’msurethecensorswilldeletethispostquicklyenough,butIcouldn’tbeartonotsayanthingaboutanarrogantteamofwebdevelopers.

Are you referring to how HTML eats blank spaces between letters, so you can’t double space? Cause that ain’t WordPress, y’know.

Otto:

Several other editor plugins exist already. And adding vertical space by hitting enter a bunch of times is the wrong way to do it.

Basically, complain to TinyMCE, use a different editor, or use HTML styling to compensate.
