    Hi Doug,
Is there a simple php edit i can do to strip out the line feeds in the reviews so they show as a single line of text. I am forwarding them to a google spreadsheet and want them to wrap to column width without forcing breaks in unwanted lines of the cell. Am assuming there is some setting in line width but cant find it.
    Cheers
    Murray.
PS the new version is great.

    Hi Murray,

I’m not sure what you mean about line feeds. It’s an HTML table and there shouldn’t be any forced line breaks. Maybe the column headings are causing a problem in the spreadsheet, so perhaps try skipping that row? Or maybe I’m misunderstanding your question?

Thanks, glad you like the new version!

I’m marking this as resolved since I haven’t heard back from you on this thread. But if you’re still having any trouble, please let me know and I’ll be happy to help.

Sorry Doug for not getting back to you on this. If I take the result data from a table of reviews via an import into Google sheets the actual review comment comes with a number of \n tags and limits the column width of the returned data. I would like to remove these tags in the rendered data so that the full review appears as a single line.

    Hi Murray,

How are you importing the data into Google Sheets? Are you copying and pasting?

I checked the HTML again and I still don’t see any forced line breaks. The table should be responsive as you resize your browser (assuming your theme is responsive). Can you post a link? Maybe it’s something with your theme or a plugin that’s overriding the defaults.

    I am using
    =IMPORTHTML(A1,”table”, 1)
    Where A1 is
    http://base.podalytics.com/check
I have been linking to a shortcode included page to avoid issues around passwords for the dashboard display.

    Hi Murray,

This is a bug or limitation with the Google Sheets import function. There isn’t anything to fix or change with the plugin that can correct the issue you’re seeing. If you look at the HTML of the table on that page, you’ll see that there are no forced line breaks. I imagine that if you try this on another website table, you’ll see the same thing.
