With the recent update to version 4.8.8.1, we noticed the error log is getting filled (over 10,000 entries) with errors related to Slimstats. These examples repeat in varied random:

[11-Sep-2019 06:43:15 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined index: id in /home/texontowel/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-slimstat/wp-slimstat.php on line 747

[12-Oct-2019 15:34:49 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined index: query in /home/texontowel/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-slimstat/wp-slimstat.php on line 1574

We are using PHP 7.2.23 with Avada theme 6.1.0.

    Thanks.

  • Same here… only the ‘query’ index one though, line 1593.

Our error log is also filled with:

[16-Oct-2019 00:46:17 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined index: query in /home/texontowel/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-slimstat/wp-slimstat.php on line 1593

Would you be available to test the new version?

    same problem:
Notice: Undefined index: query in /var/www/USER/data/www/SITE-Domain/wp-content/plugins/wp-slimstat/wp-slimstat.php on line 1593

    P.S.

    Operating System
    Linux
    Server

Version 4.8.8.1 is still filling the error log with the same error repeating:

[24-Nov-2019 05:29:51 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined index: query in /home/domain/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-slimstat/wp-slimstat.php on line 1593.

    The problem lies in get_search_terms, line 1593 entails $searchterms = self::_get_param_from_query_string( $parsed_url[ 'query' ], $a_param );

It’s been 30 days without any solution? Slimstat Analytics used to be an amazing tool, but as of the last 3.5 months, ongoing development is a bulwark of errors since 4.8.4.1, which was the last stable build. We may have to abandon it altogether.

Jason wrote 3 weeks ago: “Would you be available to test the new version?” with no reaction from the others. So please, help him testing the version before blaming their support.

We’re having the same issue. It bloated our error logs to over 50MB!

I’ve opened a support ticket but it has been ignored.

    Hoping for a fix soon!
