No, this plugin has no limits. Limit are provided by your hosting.
Talk with them if you are having problems to import large amounts of users.
I am having trouble importing more than a very few at a time. What are the server requirements for the import? What do I say to my hosting agents?

You have to talk with your hosting to makes bigger the execution time.
Also it can affect any other kind of time limits but yes, the max execution time is the main problem here.
I have increased the execution time from 300 to 600, and also the memory etc.
Still no matter what, the plugin imports only 5 users, then generates an error.
This seems to be other kind of problems.
Could you show me the error it throws?
