• Max number of tweets is 150 and they are collective with the rest of people on your host, meaning that your site will show a very limited number of your tweets and updates will be delayed until the limit is reset.

Also, there are no layout settings from within the WordPress admin panel.

To be fair, the limits are imposed by Twitter and not by the plugin. It’s completely outside my control.

As for layout options, you’re right. That’s all done with CSS, although I include plenty of HTML classes to make that easy.

So how come the Twitter widget html function (https://twitter.com/settings/widgets) works with instant updates?

Because that loads an iframe directly from Twitter. They don’t impose limits on themselves.

Ok, to bad it works that way. I’ll have to stick with the iframe until this is fixed..

Yeah, unfortunately they’re not planning on “fixing” the limit. Instead they’re actually making things worse. In March they won’t let any au-authenticated requests at all. So by then the plugin will be much more complex, having to authenticate each user with Twitter…and it will still have a limit (although the limit will apply per user instead of per IP).

Bastards.. What about us WordPress users? :/
