I’d like to comment on your review to clarify about 3rd party services. If you buy premium, the plugin will still use 3rd party services because they are essential for the review process.
We use a dedicated external site for hosting of aggregated review forms for very clear purposes:
1. It provides an excellent page load speed for review forms. Such speed cannot be achieved even by best WordPress sites running on expensive dedicated hosting. If a review form loads slowly, customers will leave much less reviews.
2. Nobody will trust your reviews if you collect them yourself. As a shop owner, you are extremely biased and prefer positive reviews. You need an independent third party collecting reviews on your behalf that customers will trust. Having an external site for hosting of review forms is the first indicator of an independent review process. After that, reviews are transmitted to your site anyway and you have an option to display a verified review sign.
I hope it will help in understanding how the plugin works.
I think this person is very wrong to give a 1 star review! These folks have developed a top-notch review system that performs as well as many others costing 50+ dollars a month.
The developers are constantly improving the plugin and making it even better. We have been using the “free” version for a number of months now and attribute the huge increase in sales to the reviews we have gathered with this review service.
I still give them a 5+ on this service / plugin and think that any person who gives a 1 star review for this excellent plugin should be ashamed of themselves!!! That’s just wrong.
