• One of the major benefits of using the WordPress platform, is that sooner or later somebody will offer a solution to a problem that you have [ even if you didn’t know that you had it! ]. WP/LRSync is one such solution. I’ve been a user of Lightroom since version one and switched over to WordPress several years ago from Blogger, remember that.

Over the years I have extended my Photography business to the point where I now host three different sites. The biggest headache has always been updating images in galleries and portfolios. Keeping track of what lives where, exporting from Lightroom, uploading via FTP or within the browser, importing into the media library and then editing a gallery or portfolio, all takes valuable time.

Yes, there are a various ways or shortening that process, and trust me a I seem to have tried most of them at one time or another. But they all come with caveats. Until now that is. Jordy Meow has written the plugin that, for me at least, has given me back my life again. OK that maybe a tad hyperbolic, but it often feels that way.

Once a gallery, my preferred approach at the moment, has been set up within WordPress and after adding images for the first time I no longer have to visit WordPress again. That’s right. I can add, remove or swap images from within lightroom at will, and even change captions or image titles etc. It’s really quite liberating – what was once a chore has become fun again.

As an added bonus Jordy is very responsive to support questions, and as a user of his own plugin is happy to listen to suggestions to improve it [if possible].

A cracking plugin that I’m more than happy to recommend.
Thanks Jordy – keep up the good work, we need you 🙂

Hey, thanks a lot for that wonderful review! Now the next theme is to work on more integration with themes. A friend and I are actually working on a theme like this, if you are interested to be a beta tester, don’t hesitate to ask me 🙂
