Second question, if I change the settings, e.g. max number of links FROM an article, will some of the links be automatically removed with your plugin (given these links were added by your plugin)?

How come the outgoing links are so high? It should be 8 or 5 max.
Yes correct the outgoing links should be 5 at max if that is your settings.

No failed actions… I don’t have any strange plugins that should cause this error.
Any other ideas why your plugin doesn’t work as intended? seems like I’ll need to delete it completely.
