Limit pagination for visitors

    Hi,
    If somebody is viewing the site as Visitor is it possible to limit the pagination to a certain range? for instance if I have 1000+ items and if my display is set to to display 10 to 15 items per page I do not want to display links to all 100+ pages but only 10 or back a few months, likewise when someone signs in as subscriber or admin then all the pagination range should be available from the beginning of time.
