# "Limit" not working

 * I tried several shortcodes, but limit doesn’t seem to work at all. Went through
   the support, FAQ and other notes, couldn’t find anyone else with same problem.
   Am I missing something?

 * Well your query isn’t 100% clear. I’m assuming you’ve set the limit to something
   less than 5?
 * Either way, the limit parameter is working fine here. You should try deactivating
   plugins to check for conflicts.

 * Hi James,
 * Sorry for not being clear. I didn’t set any limit at first, it was showing 5 
   team members even though I have added 12. Then I tried to add the limit parameter
   and altered it, but it still kept showing 5 members. Per your recommendation,
   I’ll try de-activating other plugins. Will update this thread again.
 * PS: Great plugin and themes, have been fan of HighWind for a year now.

 * Okay, found out that it’s not the plugins but the theme interfering (with the
   loop perhaps?). Not sure how to fix this. Any clue?

 * Okay, fixed it. Turns out theme developer is limiting number of posts displayed
   per page, changed the settings as per requirements and it’s done.
