    Is there a way to limit the login access to a vpn for certain admin users? Ex. user “admin” needs to use a certain vpn/ip.

    Hi @graftedin, thanks for reaching out.

    As VPNs are almost indistinguishable from regular internet traffic, and there’s a very real possibility of customers without much technical experience blocking themselves altogether, Wordfence does not provide a “only allow access from…” type option. Also, unless you have a guaranteed fixed IP, which is not consistent with reasons to use a VPN, the admins may experience problems when those IPs change.

    My recommendation would always be to use a password manager, apply strong long-character passwords for your admin users and enable 2FA to further ensure your site’s security. There are a few ways to block commonly tried invalid usernames or tighten up the amount of attempts that can be made to sign in via WordPress, which you may also want to discover more about and utilize to your advantage:
