Limit image width upload

  • Is there a simple hack or plugin? So when an author on my site uploads an image they are meet with a warning if the image width is more than 350px width or the upload function automatically re-sizes the image to 350 width and the height is kept relative?

I’ve tried Inline Multiple Uploading plugin, but it creates errors if the image is above the max width. I also don’t want to a seperate upload facility like imageManager. My Authors may decide not to post if it gets to confussing to upload an image.

Thanks for reading my post. I hope you can help.
