I have a set of writers, say 20, that post regularly to a single WP blog. I’d like the home page to display posts only by 5 specific writers. And I’d like those 5 writers to be able to pick occasional posts by the other 15 to appear on the front page of the site.
Is there a plugin that does this? Is there a non-plugin technique people would recommend?
The first use case, only 5 authors can have their posts on the home page, is somewhat easy in theory: I could make those 5 editors and display editor posts on the front page. If that works.
It’s the second use case, selectively pulling out posts from the other 15 writers that has me stumped. If I use a category, then any of the 15 writers could use that category to bump their stories.
Let me know if you know how to make this happen. Thanks in advance for any help!
