Limit Feed

I want to use your plugin in my sidebar. However, it’s pulling in a large feed that runs too long down the page. Is it possible to pull in a limited number of visible hashtags at any one time?

For example, the plugin still pulls in X amount of hashtagged items but only shows 5 at any one time. The feed would update as it normally does with the latest item on top.

Let me know if this is possible now via shortcode or if there is something I can do by hacking the code.
