Support » Plugin: Limit Orders for WooCommerce » Limit based on Delivery Date rather than Order Date

    I’ve got a Pizzeria that can only make 50 pizzas per day roughly, we’re limiting the orders to 25 as there’s an average of 2-3 pizzas per order.

    We’d like to set the limit by the delivery day rather than order day, is this possible?

    @ehlanafoley,

    How do you set the delivery date within WooCommerce? Is it a custom field or are you using a plugin to handle that?

    I’m using a woo extension, WooCommerce Order Delivery

    https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-order-delivery/

    I’ve created custom shipping methods to allow me to deliver to certain areas on certain days but then I can’t limit the amount of orders that then go out on each delivery day so hitting a bit of a brick wall. Totally understand if this can’t be done though, thought it would be worth a check! 🙂

    We would likely need to build a custom integration with that plugin to make it work.

    Not saying that it can’t be done, but it would likely require more time than we currently have to allocate to this plugin.

    I see the WooCommerce Order Delivery plugin has a request board and it does look like that feature is the most frequently requested item.

    I’ve created a ticket in the GitHub project to track this, and will let you know if we work out a solution.

    Thank you again for your prompt response Brian. Understanding that this is a free plugin and therefore will get worked on as and when it’s possible, would you be able to quote outside of WordPress, to create this functionality for me?

    If so, please let me know how to contact you directly. If not, thanks again for your help and responsiveness. I’m yet to find another author to be so responsive.
