Support » Plugin: PPWP - WordPress Password Protect Page Plugin » Limit attempts to access

  • Hi,

I’m trying to source a front end password solution that has a limit on how many times a user can attempt to enter a password, does your plugin offer this feature?

    Thank you

  • Hi @sibbo100,

Thanks for reaching out to us last Friday night.

Yes, it’s possible to limit how many times a user can attempt to enter a password with our PPWP Pro plugin.

The plugin comes with a password management popup where you can:

    • Restrict passwords by time or usage
    • View the number of times a password was used
    • Deactivate/activate or delete any passwords that you want

Here is a sample protected page: https://passwordprotectwp.com/demo/protect-pdf-files-from-downloads/

You can enter “sibbo100” as a password twice to unlock the content.
